How much is your current bidding process costing you?

Move the three sliders to match your business. The math compares your annual estimating labor cost against Klorra Pro Annual ($8,990/yr, 66 bids/yr). Numbers get uncomfortable fast for anyone running 15+ bids per year.

Total estimating hours per year750 hrs
Annual estimating labor cost$60,000
Klorra Pro Annual$8,990 / yr
You'd save$51,010

How the math works

The three inputs above are: bids/year, hours per bid, and your fully-loaded hourly cost(salary + benefits + overhead allocation, not just gross wage). Multiply them and you get total annual estimating labor cost. Subtract Klorra Pro Annual ($8,990 for 66 bids/yr) and that's the savings line.

The defaults (30 bids, 25 hours each, $80/hr) come from conversations with active custom builders. The hours-per-bid number is the most variable — small remodels can be 8–10 hours, luxury custom homes with multiple discipline sets can run 40+. Use your own numbers to get a real answer.

What the math doesn't capture

  • Bids you don't submit because you ran out of time. Estimating bandwidth is the bottleneck on most custom builders' pipelines. Removing it means more bids out the door.
  • Bids that go out wrong. Quantity misses get eaten by the builder, not the customer. Klorra catches scope gaps in the conflict report before bid submission.
  • Estimator burnout. Senior estimators are expensive and rare. Removing 80% of the manual measurement work keeps them on judgment + relationships, not on clicking SF callouts at 2am.
