Where we came from
Klorra was built inside an active custom home builder in Naples, Florida. The pipeline was developed and tuned on real customer plan sets across 2024 and 2025 — multi-million-dollar custom homes, real takeoffs, real estimates, real outcomes. We opened it up to other builders in 2026 because the math kept working.
We are not a venture-backed AI startup. We are not pivoting from a different industry. The cost-code logic, override discipline, and QC checks come directly from running production work, not from product managers guessing at what builders want.
How we operate
Klorra is a small team. We ship the product ourselves, support the customers ourselves, and answer the email ourselves. We don't have a sales department or a marketing department. The output is the proof — that's why the first takeoff is free.
Pricing reflects margin discipline learned from the bidding work. We are not running at a loss to capture market share. Each tier is priced to be sustainable for us and obviously cheaper than running the same work in-house at senior-estimator rates.
What we don't claim
We don't claim Klorra produces a warranted bid. The accuracy disclaimer at Terms §3 is the substantive one — every quantity and rate is the builder's responsibility to verify before commercial use. We don't claim a human reviews every bid before it ships; the pipeline is fully automated and we're honest about that on /how-it-works. We don't claim AI replaces estimating judgment; we claim AI takes 4 hours to produce what would otherwise take 25 to 35 hours of senior time, and we let builders decide what to do with the time saved.
